Gloucestershire’s Ghost Stories

English Language students attended an event at the Wilson Gallery called Gloucestershire’s Ghost Tales, with free tickets provided by the English Language course. The event was performed by local authors and storytellers Anthony Nanson and Kirsty Hartsiotis, who joined the students for drinks afterwards. The following gives a flavour of the event:

Whether it’s white ladies, old ladies, monks, miners, blacksmiths, or poltergeists Gloucestershire’s hidden places are seething with spooks. Storytellers Anthony Nanson and Kirsty Hartsiotis imaginatively bring to life the creepiest and most engaging ghost stories from all over the county – from the Forest, Severn Vale, and Cotswolds, the Upper Thames and Bristol.
